Energy conservation question on orbiting?

I've got this question A particular comet has an elliptical orbit. When closest to the Sun (perihelion) it is at a distance of 8.823*10^10 m and moves with a speed of 54.6 km/s. The greatest distance between this comet and the Sun (aphelion) is 6.082*10^12 m. What is the speed at the aphelion? Any help is appreciated!

Mass, I assume, is constant (it's a comet, and it DOES change, but since you don't mention it...) L/m = v * r is constant regardless of location L/m = 54.6 * 8.823e10 (km/s)*(m) At aphelion (L/m)/r_a = 54.6 * (8.823e10/6.082e12) (km/s) = 54.6(8.823e10/6.082e12) (km/s) = 0.792086 (km/s) I think
