Please Help! I Don't Know Why This Happened?

I've got this question I know i have asked this ? before a few times but i havent gotten any good answers so..... I use to run everyday and i looooove running, but lately i have been too busy to run but i have exercised and the local rec center (elliptical and bikes) so i know i am not out of shape. but the other day i went out for a run and my legs gave out after two miles and i usually run 7. i got really dizzy and had to sit for 30 minutes before walking home. do you know why this could have happened? i'm 15, 5feet 6inches and 107pounds i had plenty of water before and i drink o-ton-o water every day i eat when i am hungry, and i'm not going to lie, that isnt often. but if i eat when i am not hungry i'll get sick. i usually have a bagel at lunch time and maybe a small plate of what ever is for dinner at night.

Ok, what I can say about this Well, running outside uses different muscles than the elliptical and bike, so you've been changing the way your body reacts to different work outs. My trainer at NYSC said the elliptical was basically a big toy, and the survey of NYC personal trainers in TimeOut NY a month or so ago had most of them agree that the elliptical doesn't do much of anything. Now, if you've stopped running and just do the indoor stuff, its like you were weight lifting for years, and then stopped and did the bowflex - your body is not being challenged in the right ways anymore and so the muscle mass is decreasing! All I can say is, when I run on the treadmill in the gym, I know it is simply for cardio, and that I need to run outside for whole body fitness. I can about 5miles on the treadmill but only 3 1/2 outside because working against gravity and your body's own weight is a far better work out, and I can't do as much. If you want to keep your seven mile distance, use the treadmill, and MAKE TIME to run outside! I alternate outside and inside to balance the time issue. When I tell my husband I don't have time, he tells me what I really mean is that I don't prioritize my own future health! (Not trying to be a jerk, honestly, just passing on what trainers have told me) Also, your comments about food are troubling! As a runner, you must must must eat enough for your body to use as fuel or like other engines without what they need, your body will break down. Even if you don't feel hungry, force yourself to eat an apple, or a protein shake 1 hr before running. Then after the run, eat more protein, veggies, and carbs - you must do this!! As someone who ran cross country, indoor & outdoor track for all 4 years of high school, I can tell you that without food the run will be harder, longer and more punishing than productive!

Can Someone Help Me Convert Elliptical Distance To Real Distance?
The LED screen on my elliptical doesn't work, but even when it did it didn't tell me the distance in miles I would have traveled had I taken the same. I don't know if there's any way to get an accurate run distance from an elliptical distance. The elliptical I use in the gym has me at 7 minute. I mean, the elliptical has none of the impact that running does, so no matter how far you go, you aren't keeping up the muscles in your legs that.

I Feel So Guilty ! Help?

Are You know decision of this problem? So..my mom bought me a card for the fitness club last year It was really expensive, and you know what, during all the yeard I went there just once.. I wasnt slacking around all the time, caz I got studies and I spent a lot of times on it caz the study at college is really serious but...I shud have had something else exept studying.. But I was so lazy to go.. So now is the sale cards in that fitness club again and, I wud like to go there But my mom says she wont buy me a year participating caz last year i went only once... And the thing is there is no any other fitness club around my home.. So I feel so guilty that my mom spend the money for nothing and I was lazy to not go etc And she wont buy me again Help me please
