What am i doing wrong? why am i not losing weight?

I have such question if i work out about 5 days a week maybe more. i eat about 1500 calories a day. i do 30 min of elliptical machine and weights every other day. i also walk to school and home from school and sometimes i walk at the beach at night or around my neighborhood so its not like i sit around at home all day. is doing this pointless i seem to not be losing any weight and i been doing this for 3 months straight. i have only lost about 7 pounds in 3 months. why am i not losing weight? oh and by the way here's some info on me if it help :) height: 5'3' weight: 130lbs age:17 im a girl

My favorite decision is it could be that the kinds of foods you eat cause you to hold a lot of water. basically if you eat stuff with salt or things like that the water latches on to that. try drinking a lot of water it washes away all the bad stuff in your system (only problem is it makes you have to go to the bathroom more lol) and 7 pounds in three months isn't bad it doesn't happen all at once, especially if you aren't obese (which by your height and weight you aren't) the less fat you have, the longer it takes to loose weight... ever watched supersize me? it took him, like what, i think it was 9 months to lose the last few pounds? but ya I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, you seem to be on the right track good luck :)
