Please........................…

Today's question is I know this is in the wrong category but no one was answering...I work out almost everyday burning anywhere from 150 cal. to 600 cal. either on the treadmill or elliptical. Am I losing weight because I really don't feel like I am. I have been doing this for almost 1 month. Any tips

My favorite decision is Have you changed your eating habits? 150 calories isn't that much. That's probably around 20 minutes at a moderate pace on an elliptical. 1 month, isn't that long to judge if you're workout routine is working or not. The best way to lose weight, doing cardio, is to do short, fast bursts of speed. You want to go as fast as you can for about 2 minutes, and then kick back at a slow/moderate pace for 1 to 2 minutes, and then keep repeating that for about 20-30 minutes a day. You'll also want to add some weights in there, even if it's not very heavy. Continue your workouts doing circuit training... meaning, you do one set of 10-12 (slow) reps on your legs, then a chest exercise, then bicep, then back, then tricep. THEN, you repeat that whole thing 3 times. You'll want to find different exercises, so that you do 3 exercises per muscle group. I try to focus on 3 to 4 muscles per day. (DAY 1: Chest, Triceps, shoulders, Legs)(DAY 2: Abs, back, Biceps, Gluts)... OH, and don't let more than 20-30 seconds pass before you're onto the next exercise. You have to keep moving... that's the whole idea of the circuit training. -- do this 3 times a week for a total body workout routine. In between those days, do 45 minutes of cardio. edit: Just so you know, there is NO way to actually turn fat into muscle. They're two totally different things. The best way to lose weight is cardio, with light strength training, like what I was saying with the circuit training. Best way to keep the weight off, is NOT doing cardio, but strength training with weights.
