Diamondback Elliptical 300 Series

I am thinking about buying a diamondback elliptical 300 series. Is this a good machine?

Today's question is It is a pretty good unit. Smoother than treadmills on the knees but not totally non impact. It is a much better machine than a lot of the low end products but is Diamondbacks entry level machine so it doesn't have all the programs, bells and whistles of their higher end models. For most, it would be an excellent machine but it depends on how vigorous or intense of workouts you do. It is not recommended even by the manufacture for very intense workouts. Some of there higher level machine are much more durable but they cost more too. If it is a used machine see if it is out of warranty, and see if it has ever been serviced or how regularly and how the previous owner used it. As you know there are all types and they use the machine at all levels. If you get one from a well intentioned exerciser but not a devoted exerciser, there will probably be very little wear. On the other hand devotees, wear these machines out and upgrade so be careful.

And I found this way My wife surprised me with a D-back 300 series machine on Thursday. We've had treadmills, bikes, xc ski machines, and this is the first I can say I'm enjoying. It's whisper quiet and the adjustable tension suits me fine. It's also pretty lightweight so it's easy to move around (like closer to the TV). I've had knee issues in the past and had a hip replaced last year, and there is next to no stress on those joints.
